However, the company said that more companies will be able to sign up to test the industry version of the Ernie bot starting March 31, while the regular version of the app remains open for testing by users lucky enough to receive invitation codes.

Ernie Bot is a chatbot tool designed to compete with ChatGPT, a natural language model developed by OpenAI. In recent years, Baidu has invested heavily in artificial intelligence and expects Ernie Bot to become one of the best tools in the industry.

Despite the delay, Baidu is expected to continue working on the development of the chatbot, with product news to be released soon.
