Apple iOS 16 released iOS 16.4, the fourth major update to the operating system. Update 21 includes new emoji characters, Safari web notifications, soundproofing, Apple Books page-turning animations, podcast updates, and tons of tweaks. In addition, the update includes features such as HomeKit architecture and VoiceOver support in the weather app.

iOS 16.4 It was released two months after iOS 16.3, an update that adds security keys for the Apple ID. The update will fix a major issue where 21 new animal, motion, and object emojis, notifications for web apps added to the home screen, support for double albums in photos, and purchase permission requests from children were not displayed on device parents.
