From now on, truck drivers passing through the Yagodin-Dorogusk international checkpoint on the border of Ukraine and Poland will be able to register in an electronic queue using the eCherha app.
Referring to the ministry’s press service on Facebook, Ukrinform reported this situation by Deputy Minister of Community Development, Regions and Infrastructure Anatoliy Komirny.
“The project officially started in December last year. And during this time, close to 55,000 trucks went through the electronic queue and passed the checkpoint. Ukraine is systematically working on the digitization of the border crossing procedure. The unique free service allows drivers to plan their trips, thus saving time and money. allows,” he said.
According to the deputy minister, you can download eCherha to your phone from the App Store (for iOS operating system) or Google Play (for Android). Thanks to the application, the driver will be able to learn the status of the queue, the progress of the queue and the time of arrival at the checkpoint.
To enter the program, drivers must use the same password and login used for authorization on the echerha.gov.ua website. The application is available in three languages: Ukrainian, Polish and English.
“International cargo carriers crossing the border through the Yagodin-Dorogusk checkpoint can use eCheruga.” It is not necessary to enter the service areas for queue users. “The driver chooses where and how to wait for the border crossing,” he said.
As reported, an electronic border crossing line was launched at the Yagodin-Dorogusk checkpoint in December 2022. It was developed specifically for the Ukrainian PP and takes into account the peculiarities of the Ukrainian regulatory and legal framework.
