A 36-year-old woman was rescued alive from a niche in a cemetery in Brazilwhere she was buried in retaliation for the alleged loss of a shipment of “weapons and drugs,” official sources said Tuesday.
The event took place at the municipal cemetery of the city of Visconde de Rio Branco, in the state of Minas Gerais (southeast), the military police said.
A group of gravediggers issued a warning to the authorities, noting that one of the vertical niches had been covered with “bricks and fresh cement” and that there were “traces of blood” all around.
When they got to the place Officers heard cries for help a brick wall was pierced from inside the niche and a woman was found with “wounds on her head and various cuts on her body.”
Immediately afterwards, they called an ambulance, which took her to the hospital for treatment.

“From now on, I didn’t remember anything else until I woke up in the grave“, – said in a statement the military police of the state of Minas Gerais.

The victim also stated that prior to his abduction lost a cargo of “weapons and drugs” which he kept for two items.
The military police reported that two suspects “20 and 22 years old” have already been identified as possible authors of the episode, although he has not yet been able to find them. (EFE)
