Zoom is expanding its platform by adding GPT-4 artificial intelligence to streamline meetings. Through a partnership with OpenAI, the company will offer video call summaries, message drafts, and other challenges created by ChatGPT.

The platform has announced Zoom IQ AI, an intelligent assistant that will make video conferencing more efficient. Currently, Zoom IQ is already capable of creating chapters and highlights for meetings, but with the addition of AI it will be possible to optimize other functions that were previously done manually.

One of the benefits of the Zoom IQ AI Assistant is to create summaries for users who are late for meetings. The AI ​​will review the topics being discussed and will be ready to answer user questions about what has been discussed.

Zoom IQ AI brings several features to the platform, such as creating whiteboards from text input and creating discussion summaries in Zoom Team Chat for users who were unable to participate in a conversation.

Assistant will bring a number of tools and features

Zoom’s virtual assistant will be able to generate draft messages for users who need to write long texts, such as a warning or position. Simply provide guidelines, indicate what data should be submitted, and the chatbot will take care of writing everything with the desired organization, tone, and length.

In addition to creating draft messages for Zoom chat, Zoom IQ’s AI feature can be extended to email and other platforms. The novelty will be available to guests from April, with a gradual expansion to more people.
