According to Ukrinform, this was announced in Telegram, Deputy Prime Minister responsible for Innovations, Education, Science and Technology Development – Digital Transformation Minister Mykhailo Fedorov.
“So far, 500 companies have become residents of Diya.City. Thank you to the residents for choosing Ukraine as the place for development and scaling. They are not afraid to implement large-scale projects, create new jobs and strengthen the state’s digital economy,” he said.
Fedorov announced last month that global IT consulting and engineering platform Avenga, Ukrainian startup engaged in artificial intelligence development, Let’s Enhance, and EasyPay, one of Ukraine’s largest online payment services, have joined Diya. City.
Edtech initiatives are actively involved, including Mate Academy, which teaches programming, and Nanit Robot, which develops edtech hardware for children and adults.
As reported, during the period of operation of Diya.City for more than a year, residents of the city paid more than four billion hryvnia to the state budget. This is 6% of all taxes paid by the industry. More than 35,000 specialists work in established companies.
