It is expected to travel more than 500 kilometers on a single charge.
It was noted that the EV9 was developed in accordance with Kia’s new design philosophy “Oppositions unite”, which shifts attention to car electrification.
Kia plans to introduce the EV9 gradually in the second half of this year to the United States, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and the Asia-Pacific region.
According to the company, about 100,000 new models will be produced annually at the Kia Autoland Gwangmyeong factory near Seoul for global sales.
The cost of an EV9 model is not yet known.
