The 1 MHz processor seems incredibly weak today, even for wearable and wearable electronics. But on such a CPU you can run the operating system and not the oldest.
Enthusiast decided to see if it would be possible to run Windows XP on such a CPU. Let me remind you that the list of minimum system requirements includes a processor with a frequency of 233 MHz.
As it turned out, 233 times less frequency will be enough. However, we will have to wait. Too long. It took more than three hours to boot Windows XP, but the system still started and allowed even the simplest manipulations. However, after half an hour of operation the system showed a blue screen of death.
The author in the description of the video talks about recompiling the 86Box / PCem and adjusting the desired CPU frequency, therefore, apparently, the processor in physical use was much faster.
