With the increasing role of developing technology in everyday life, the use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), popularly called drone, has also increased. Vedat Güneş, a UAV pilot and owner of the authorized training company of the General Directorate of Civil Aviation (SHGM), stressed that the demand for UAV pilots is increasing day by day.

The use of UAVs, popularly called drones, at events such as weddings, concerts and gatherings in Turkey is increasing day by day. Vedat Güneş, owner of Maiden Flight Tech, an authorized company of the Directorate General of Aviation, and UAV pilot, said citizens are becoming increasingly aware of the use of UAVs. Güneş mentioned the importance of UAV pilots and said: “The demand for UAV pilots is increasing day by day. They come to us for training and flying consciously. There is a lot of air traffic in our country. Eiutim is therefore very important. Anyone who wants to use it and is curious, it must learn and fly.”

Students who received training to use UAVs from the educational institution owned by Vedat Güneş said: “People want to shoot drones, be it for short films or events such as weddings and concerts. In addition to the evolving technology, we also use drones in our work by doing this vocational training. We want to learn more about this company for both curiosity and business purpose, which is why education is so important,” he says.
