First generation

Second generation

The second generation Nissan Murano was also produced from 2009 to 2014 under the direction of designers Toshiyuki Abe and Chung Kyu Choi. It was unveiled at the 2007 Los Angeles Auto Show and made available to the public in January 2008. The 2009 version received a facelift with both interior and exterior design changes.

Third generation: jet-inspired design

After the completion of the first two cycles, the design of the third and current generation Nissan Murano was handled by Kenneth Lee, whose career was shaped at various Nissan design centers around the world.

During this process, the designers used three key phrases: to increase the level of experience, to make a museum piece, but at the same time a concept car ready for the streets.

The result: the third generation of the Nissan Murano, a car that once again captures the bold influence of the original model. The front end has a very strong and distinctive design thanks to the boomerang-shaped headlights and V-Motion grille that are typical of the brand.
