WABetaInfo has discovered that with the release of version 2.23.8.2 of the beta version of WhatsApp for Android, users will be able to block/unblock individual chats using their fingerprint or PIN (Personal Identification Number).

Apparently, it will be possible to block individual chats directly from the contact list or from the group information screen. Once locked, the chat will only be available on the Locked Chats screen, as shown in the image below, and can only be accessed after authentication with a user’s fingerprint or PIN.
