Invaders cut off communications in Kherson and part of Zaporozhian areas

Yesterday, residents of Kherson and parts of Zaporizhia regions first experienced disruptions in Internet and mobile communications, and then these services disappeared in large areas. It is now known that the reasons for the lack of communication are the interruption of the fiber optic main lines and the power cut from the equipment of the operators in these regions.

The problems that arise simultaneously in all mobile operators and fixed internet service providers are nothing but an attempt by the occupier to leave the Ukrainians without access to real information about the course of Russia’s war against Ukraine; and they make their false propaganda an unalterable source of information, as is done in Russia.

The Kremlin’s supporters have set the goal of achieving some kind of victory for their leaders, which they can at least “sell” to their constituents. When they can’t get any results on the battlefield, they look for ways out. One of them is the creation of new so-called republics.

However, the creation of the so-called Kherson People’s Republic in the current situation is quite misleading – Ukrainians continue to protest pro-Ukraine, despite aggression against them, the use of tear gas and weapons. After all, it was thanks to the connection that they felt the support of all Ukraine.

Therefore, it is not surprising that in parallel with the disconnection of Ukrainian operators from hostile information sources, they began to spread false stories that the Ukrainian authorities ordered the disconnection. This is not true, because we have always advocated the maximum access of Ukrainians to the media. And before the war and at the beginning of the occupation, the National Center for Operational and Technical Management of Telecommunication Networks (NCU) in the State Special Communications Service expressed the state’s clear position – operators should provide Ukrainians with access to communication and information.

The disconnection of Ukraine, as well as the introduction of the currency of the offensive country and the forced payment of taxes to the occupying organizations, should create the appearance of a new semi-formation, at least for Russian domestic consumption. And against this background, to feed the Russians the fake results of a possible fake referendum.

Ukraine will never abandon its citizens. Our defenders expelled the enemy troops from the Kyiv, Sumi and Chernihiv regions and expelled them from other regions. All occupied lands within the internationally recognized borders of our country will be liberated.

We are now asking all Ukrainians in the occupied areas to move to other areas if possible. We urge everyone to take care not to endanger themselves.

You can still keep in touch with Ukraine. Listen to the radio in medium waves (1278, 1404, 873, 657 kHz) with the help of old receivers, even if the invaders cut off Ukrainian broadcasts, communications and the Internet. Ukrainian channels are also decoded on satellite:

  • satellite: Hotbird 13;
  • frequency: 11,219 MHz;
  • polarization: H (horizontal);
  • symbolic speed: 29,900;
  • bugfix: FEC 3/5. Source
