According to Ukrinform, this was announced by Viktor Zhora, Deputy Head of the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine, the agency’s press service reported in a Telegram.

For example, in 2014 Russian hackers attacked the Ukrainian Central Election Commission servers and dared to interfere in the 2016 and 2020 US elections.

“Creating sustainable cybersecurity is a global challenge. To fight the threat together, we need to come together, share knowledge and experience, conduct joint trainings and exercises. After all, it is not just about Ukraine,” stressed Zhora.

As Ukrinform reported, in two months the Security Service of Ukraine neutralized more than 250 powerful cyber attacks, neutralized a dozen bot farms and blocked 50,000 fake accounts on social networks.

On April 29, it was reported that anonymous hackers carried out cyberattacks on the websites of the Romanian government and the Ministry of Defense.
