AMD is having great success with the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, a processor that we had the chance to review before its launch and which, like its predecessor, the Ryzen 7 5800X3D, features a block 64MB additional 3D stacked L3 cache. This extra L3 cache along with the higher IPC allowed it to become a one of the most powerful processors for gamesand also one of the most effective in its category.
As I already told you in our analysis, the only “but” that the Ryzen 7 7800X3D has is its price, and the fact that 509.99 euros is a number that puts it far from the average user. However, the truth is that it compensates for its high price with top performance in games, as we have already said, and the very low power consumption it offers. Given all this, it is no wonder that it has been so well received in the European market.
The data provided by the well-known German retailer Mindfactory.de confirms this huge success and the most interesting thing is that Ryzen 7 7800X3D brought back interest in Ryzen 7 5800X3D, as it gained ground again in sales, as we can see in the attached image. In that picture is the list of the best-selling processors for the last week at the mentioned seller, which is one of the most important in the German market.
Ryzen 7 7800X3D led the sales with the total number 1,860 unitsfollowed by the Ryzen 7 5800X3D, which registered nothing more and nothing less than 1070 units sold. Ryzen 7 5700X took third place with 380 units sold, and the first five were rounded out by Ryzen 5 5600G and Ryzen 5 5600 with 340 and 310 units sold, respectively. In ninth place, we have to find an Intel processor, specifically the Core i7-13700K, which accumulated a total of 170 units sold.
The picture is very clear and the numbers don’t lie, AMD does huge domain with said seller, and considering the weight of this in the German market, I think it’s pretty clear that the company generally leads in market share in that country, at least in terms of the general consumer market.
It also has the Ryzen 7 5800X3D in the Spanish market second life thanks to the drop in price that it experienced, by making it cheaper and can now be purchased for 369.90 euros. Still a good processor, but honestly I would recommend you to go for the Ryzen 7 7700X firstwhich costs 357.43 euros, offers excellent average performance on all fronts and is integrated into a state-of-the-art platform.
