Abdullah Boftain, deputy editor-in-chief of Kuwaiti media, said the move was a test of AI’s potential to deliver “new and innovative content.”
According to him, in the future, Fedha will be able to regularly post news in a Kuwaiti accent for the Kuwait News Twitter account.
Explaining the choice of the host’s name, Boftain said that Fedha is a popular old name in Kuwait, meaning silver or metal.
“We always imagine robots in silver and metallic colors, so we combined them,” Boftain added.
As reported by Ukrinform, Japan plans to hold a discussion on the use and risks of artificial intelligence at the “Group of Seven” digital issues ministerial meeting, which the country will host at the end of April.
