Since this OPPO A1 is aesthetically similar to the OPPO A1 Pro, the user experience of its screen should be different, at least on paper. Instead of an OLED panel 6.72 inch LCD panel with 120 Hz refresh rate. It also highlights a good FullHD+ resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels.
As we warned at the beginning, it shares the same brain with the ‘Pro’ model that carries Snapdragon 695 5G. This is accompanied by configurations 8 and 12 GB of RAMAlthough we already guessed that version 8 is not available on the OPPO website. It also has a unique configuration. 256GB storage.
Speaking of batteries, it’s not that OPPO has made a revolution in this ‘A1’ because it follows the market standard with batteries. 5,000mAh capacity. However, it is more than the 4,800 mAh of the ‘Pro’ model. What hasn’t changed is the addition of good fast charging for this range. Power up to 67W.
The cuts made compared to the ‘Pro’ version are felt in the camera section we see. 8 megapixel selfie camera and a rear dropped from 108 megapixels 50 megapixels. It looks the same between versions, 2 megapixel depth sensor.
Another interesting feature of the terminal is that it comes with it. ColorOS 13.1Android 13-based version of the brand’s own layer. While it is not a surprise to see a new OPPO with Android 13, it is noteworthy that mid-range mobiles with layers based on Android 12 are still being released. Even Android 11.
This device first appeared in China, a country we previously warned is sold in a single memory configuration, albeit in different colors. Specifically, it can be purchased at: blue, black or orange. The material of the first two is polycarbonate, the orange one with synthetic leather-based materials. We will see if there are differences in this regard if it reaches our region.
