MSI has announced the launch of a new line of compact PCs, the Cubi N ADL, based on Alder Lake-N processors, Intel is the cheapest and specially indicated for this group of products.

There are already a dozen different models that have been launched with these processors. Most come from Chinese integrators with limited international presence, although they are usually sold on accessible platforms such as AliExpress. But there are also better-known manufacturers that have been offering compacts for years, such as the Taiwanese giants: ASUS, Gigabyte and MSI.

Cubi N ADL maintains the low size of the range, in a square design 12cm side and with a volume of only 0.5 liters, which allows them to be installed anywhere. including walls or monitors with a VESA mount.

Its hardware base is the aforementioned Alder Lake-N processors that Intel introduced at CES in January, which come as replacements for the now-discontinued Pentium and Celeron brands. The configurations we’ve seen so far use the Intel N100, the most basic of the range four cores and a very low consumption TDP of 6 watts which may (unconfirmed) allow it to function without fans.

It has one SODIMM slot for installing up to 32 GB of DDR4-3200 MHz RAM. The storage part is covered with an M-2 connector for PCIe SSD installation and a 2.5-inch bay for a hard drive and/or SSD. storage space. In connectivity we can highlight:

The Cubi N ADL will pre-install Windows 11 and will be available in configurations starting with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The base price will be under $300.
