Dutchman Aiden acquires SAP Business One specialist Vigor. After the previous acquisition of Nessi, Aiden strengthens its position in the Belgian market.

With a press release, Aiden announces the acquisition of Vigor, a Mechelen-based company specializing in SAP Business One services. Vigor will partner with Nessie, a SAP S/4HANA specialist that Aiden acquired in February. This newly founded Belgian branch now has fifty employees in order to offer a broad portfolio of SAP solutions and managed services to medium-sized companies.

A takeover is often accompanied by a change in leadership. Vigor founder Jeroen Swarborn will assume the role of Business Unit Director for SAP Business One within Aiden’s Belgium organization. Kris Deroo, former director of Nessi, rises to the role of CEO. “Deciding to join Aiden is a natural step,” Swanborn said. “In order to remain interesting for both the market and the employees, you simply have to keep growing.

International ambitions with a local touch

Aiden, itself formed through a merger between five Dutch SAP partners, reaffirms its ambitions to become a leading SAP player in the western European market. Nevertheless, local anchoring remains an important focus of the company, emphasizes Deroo. “Both in the Netherlands and Belgium, we serve our customers in a way that suits the market and the people best. This local way of working and the human aspect in it characterizes our services and we will continue to emphasize them.”
