OpenAI’s new artificial intelligence system DALL-E 2, co-founded by Elon Musk, showed off its attractions. So, II was able to create a picture with high accuracy from a small text description.
Previously, images generated by neural networks looked more like psychedelic pictures, but technology does not stand still. For example, OpenAI manager Adam Goldberg commissioned DALL-E 2 to create “an oil-painted portrait of the royal king of burgers, posing with a whopper.”
The result of the algorithm can be seen above. The image turned out so realistic that it is easy to confuse it with a real picture. For example, many netizens compare it to portraits of Henry VIII.
According to OpenAI chief scientist Ilya Sutskever, the most complex AIs can already be a little conscious. One can argue with this statement, but one cannot deny the fact that modern neural networks have taken a big step forward compared to their early counterparts, which clearly confirms the artistic prowess of DALL-E2.
