ZTE has updated its line of cutting-edge smartphones with the release of the Axon 50 Ultra, introduced by the manufacturer last Tuesday (12), which now features satellite connectivity and other improvements. In addition to showing off a top-notch device, the company also took the opportunity to introduce the Axon Pad.

Using the Beidou Satellite Infrastructure (BDS), the Axon 50 Ultra provides satellite communications, allowing you to send and receive SMS messages in places where traditional forms of connectivity are not available. This feature is seen in brands such as Apple and Huawei with differences between them.

Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor, which was Qualcomm’s most powerful until the end of 2022, the Axon 50 Ultra is also equipped with LPDDR5x RAM, up to 1TB UFS 3.1 storage, and a ZTE-designed cryptographic security chip for hardware-level encryption.

The ZTE Axon 50 Ultra features a 6.67-inch Full HD AMOLED screen with curved sides and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, equipped with a 64MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50MP telephoto lens with 3x zoom. optical zoom, 50 MP ultra wide-angle and 13 MP frontal.

The mobile phone will have two operating systems

With a 5,000mAh battery and support for charging up to 80W via USB-C, the Axon 50 Ultra has dual operating systems and an independent security chip, though the company hasn’t explained how the dual OS works. The security chip is designed to enhance user privacy and protection, similar to Samsung Knox and Google Pixel Titan M2.

Despite the various information provided about the device, which has not yet been detailed by the manufacturer, there is no information on the price and availability of the products. However, it is believed that it will eventually become exclusive to the Chinese market and will not make its way to Brazilian stores, at least at the beginning of sales.
