MINISFORUM is one of the largest Mini-PC manufacturers. A market segment that is gaining strength in the large desktop group. The latest news from this Chinese specialist confirms the level up with the MINISFORUM NPB7 model he uses the most advanced Intel processors.

The new model is very similar to the current NAB6 in terms of chassis, design and connectivity. However, it offers higher performance thanks to the Core i7-13700H processor that powers high-end laptops and which has 14 cores and 20 threads (6 cores for performance) and integrated 1.5GHz Intel Iris Xe graphics with 96 execution units that can power up to four 4K monitors. Its TDP is 45 watts.

Another remarkable innovation is the use DDR5 vs. DDR4 memory from the previous model. Includes two SODIMM slots for up to 64GB of total dual-channel DDR5-5200 memory. Internal storage covers the M.2 2280 slot for PCIe 4.0 SSDs up to 2 TB in size. It also has a 2.5″ slot for increasing capacity with a SATA or SSD hard drive.

The MINISFORUM NPB7 has a special cooling system to handle the rise in temperatures. The manufacturer promises that updating and maintenance will be easy, as the top cover can be removed without the use of any tools.

His connectivity It is distributed on the front and back and includes an M.2 2230 wireless card with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 support, in addition to:

MINISFORUM NPB7 will be delivered in several versions, both in format bare bones where the user contributes their own memory, storage and operating system, such as in multi-tier configurations. The manufacturer has already listed it on its website for delivery in mid-May and with advertised introductory prices from $489 barebones and goes to $799 with 64 GB of memory and an SSD with a capacity of 1 Tbyte.
