Proximus renews subscriptions for SMEs and private customers with Proximus Mobile

Proximus Ada

Proximus introduces new subscription formulas for private customers and small businesses. These would better reflect the increased demand for mobile data. Mobilus and Bizz Mobile disappear into the back seat.

Proximus sells Mobilus and Bizz Mobile. The consumer/small business subscriptions are being replaced by very similar alternatives that mainly offer more data per dollar. According to its own statements, Proximus is thus fulfilling the demand of current consumers. According to the provider, postpaid customers now use twice as much data volume as they did three years ago.

Proximus Business Mobile

For small businesses, the new subscription is called Business Mobile, which includes Business Mobile Essential, Smart, Maxi and International options. You can see the details in the table below, with the new plans in bold and the old ones below for reference. All plans include unlimited texts and prices exclude VAT.

data volume talk minutes speed price without taxes)
Business Mobile Essential 5GB 120 4G 14 euros
Bizz Mobile S 3GB 100 4G 13 euros
BusinessMobile Clever 20GB Unlimited 5G (250Mbps) 23 euros
Bizz Mobile M 12GB Unlimited 5G (250Mbps) 23 euros
Business Mobile Maxi 250GB Unlimited 5G (1Gbps) 40 euros
Bizz Mobile Maxi 60GB Unlimited 5G (1Gbps) 40 euros
Business Mobile International Unlimited Unlimited 5G (1Gbps) 55 euros
Bizz Mobile International Unlimited Unlimited 5G (1Gbps) 55 euros

As you can see, the prices for business customers remain about the same, but the available data volume increases drastically. Proximus does not tinker with the speeds above 5G.

Business Mobile International is essentially the same subscription as Business Mobile Maxi but with extra volume to stay connected when traveling outside the EU. This gives you 1 GB of data volume for surfing in the USA, Canada and Switzerland as well as 600 minutes of calls and text messages in the same countries.

Customers who have their mobile subscription in the package also receive more data. With the Business Mobile Flex S, the data volume doubles from 5 GB to 10 GB and with the Business Mobile Flex M it increases from 15 GB to 75 GB.

Proximus mobile

Proximus follows a similar scenario for consumers. Mobilus disappears from the street scene and is replaced by Proximus Mobile. There you will find similar options: Mobile Essential, Easy, Maxi and Unlimited. The details can be found again in the following table. Again, text messages are unlimited in all cases. The prices for these consumer subscriptions include VAT.

data volume talk minutes speed Price incl. VAT.)
Mobile essential 5GB 150 4G 16.99 Euro
Mobilus S 3GB 120 4G 15.99 euros
Mobile easy 10GB Unlimited 5G (200Mbps) 19.99 euros
mobilus m 12GB Unlimited 5G (250Mbps) 26.99 euros
mobile phone max 50GB Unlimited 5G (500Mbps) 29.99 euros
mobile phone max 50GB Unlimited 5G (1Gbps) 42.99 euros
MobileUnlimited Unlimited Unlimited 5G (1Gbps) 49.99 euros
Mobility Unlimited Premium Unlimited Unlimited 5G (1Gbps) 49.99 euros

With these subscriptions, it is noticeable that Proximus is mainly tinkering with the price. You pay much less for a Mobile subscription than for a Mobilus formula. On the other hand, the provider is slightly lowering the maximum speed over 5G for consumer subscriptions.

In this case, too, Proximus integrates more data for customers with a subscription as part of a package. With Mobile Flex S, the volume doubles to 10 GB, with Mobile Flex M the limit goes from 20 GB to 75 GB. Mobile Flex Unlimited is a new unlimited plan.

Availability

Proximus Business Mobile and Proximus Mobile will be available from May 2nd. At this point in time, both Mobilus and Bizz Mobile will no longer be actively offered by Proximus. No new subscriptions can then be taken out under this name. Existing customers can switch to one of the new tariffs immediately, but they don’t have to. If you want, you can continue to surf and make calls with your existing subscription.
