ZOTAC has introduced the ZBOX Edge MI351, an ultra-compact mini-PC that debuts on the Alder Lake-N platform developed by Intel for low-cost, low-power desktops or notebooks.
The ZBOX Edge MI351 is advertised as a PC “basic performance for everyday work with a computer at home, in the office or in the company”. Its low-profile format in a square with only 28 mm thick And thanks to VESA mounting, it allows enormous flexibility to be placed anywhere on the desktop.
Despite its compact size, it is equipped with a large number of ports and connection options for connecting to the Internet and/or peripherals, wired or wireless. It is equipped with this Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6 802.11AX and Bluetooth 5.2. It is equipped with USB 3.2, HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4 ports for simultaneous connection of multiple 4K displays. Maintaining and upgrading this computer should be a breeze after removing a few screws.
Its hardware base is the aforementioned Alder Lake-N platform with the option of installing Intel N100, N200 or Core i3-N305 processors with 8 cores / 8 threads and integrated Intel UHD graphics. With Windows 11 pre-installed, ZOTAC will sell the ZBOX Edge MI351 in various hardware configurations including Format bare bones always interesting that it allows the user to install their own RAM, storage devices and use other alternative operating systems to Windows, such as the GNU/Linux distribution perfectly supported by this platform. It is the most economical and with the lowest consumption from Intel and therefore ideal for this type of compact computer.
