The launch will take place in Texas. The 62-minute launch window will open at 8:28 am local time and close at 9:30 am.
“A live webcast of the test flight will begin approximately 45 minutes before launch,” SpaceX said.
As reported, SpaceX has delayed the first test flight of the Starship rocket, scheduled for Monday, April 17. The company stopped the counter 40 seconds before the launch of the rocket. The reason for the flight delay was fuel problem.
Starship is a large new rocket designed to take humans, including NASA astronauts, into deep space. It should also serve as a relatively inexpensive platform for launching satellites and other payloads into orbit.
The entire Starship system is 120 meters long, making it more powerful than previous crewed spaceships. The rocket is designed to be reusable, which SpaceX predicts will keep costs low.
