In June, the American company Google will introduce its first folding smartphone, the Pixel Fold.
As reported by Ukrinform, this was reported by CNBC.
According to the company’s internal documents, Pixel Fold is known by the codename “Felix”.
The new smartphone will cost over US$1,700 and compete with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 at US$1,799.
Google plans to announce the device at its annual Google I/O developer conference scheduled for May 10.
It is noted that the company plans to sell the Pixel Fold with a 14.7 cm screen, waterproof and pocketable.
It weighs 284 grams (slightly heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4), but has a larger battery that Google says will last up to 24 hours, or 72 hours on low power.
A representative of the company declined to comment.
As Ukrinform reports, the American company Google is working to develop a new search system with artificial intelligence.
