Dokuz Eylul University Technopark (DEPARK) started the countdown by completing its works within the framework of the TEKNOFEST Aviation, Space and Technology Festival, which will be held in Istanbul between April 27 and May 1, 2023.

IZMIR (IGFA) – Turkey’s first health-themed technopark, Dokuz Eylul University Technopark (DEPARK), accelerated its work in line with national goals for the Istanbul stage of the TEKNOFEST Aviation, Space and Technology Festival, to be held between April 27 and 1 May 2023.

After completing his works in the framework of TEKNOFEST, DEPARK is waiting for prizes with 10 different inventions at the festival.

Founded in 2013 at DEU’s Tınaztepe Campus, DEPARK has quickly become one of the most important technology investments in Turkey. DEU Rector, chairman of the board of directors of DEPARK, which is fast becoming a global brand with its technological developments that also resonate internationally. Dr. Nükhet Hotar drew attention to DEPARK’s work ahead of the five-day TEKNOFEST Istanbul stage to be held at Istanbul Atatürk Airport.

THEY WILL ATTEND ISIF23

Describing the preparations of DEPARK and Dokuz Eylül Technology Transfer Office (DETTO) for the TEKNOFEST process, DEU Rector Prof. Dr. Nükhet Hotar noted that they will continue to support Turkey’s national and domestic technology movements. Rector Hotar, who stated that he will participate as DEPARK and DETTO in the 8th Istanbul International Invention Fair – ISIF23, which was held in the framework of TEKNOFEST, said: “In TEKNOFEST Istanbul 2023, one of the largest aerospace and technology festivals in the world and our university is a corporate stakeholder, DEPARK and DETTO, the ‘8. We will participate in Istanbul International Invention Fair – ISIF23. For example, we will showcase our technological wealth and visionary projects at our stand DEPARK/DETTO.”

10 DIFFERENT INVENTION AWARDS

Rector Hotar recalled that six patents owned by DEU under DEPARK and DETTO were deemed worthy of awards at ISIF22, organized in the framework of TEKNOFEST in the previous year, and said: “This year, at ISIF23, the Istanbul International Inventions Fair in under the framework of TEKNOFEST, our 10 different inventions and inventions under the right of Dokuz Eylul University We will take place with our academics. Our inventions that will enter the ISIF23 Demoday; They will participate in the competition in the categories of mechanics/engines, software/electronics, construction/materials, agriculture, traffic/transport, medical technologies and environmental protection. Here too, our scientists will give several presentations from the stage to investors about some of our inventions.
