Chery Group, one of the hosts of the Shanghai Auto Show, made the world premiere of 14 new models and 12 new technologies with its sub-brands.
ISTANBUL (IGFA) – China’s largest automaker Chery, 20. It showcased its growing product range at the Shanghai International Automobile Industry Fair (Shanghai Auto Show for short).
New brands, new technologies and products related to new consumption trends will be present at the fair to bring new impetus to the global automotive market in the organization, which witnessed the active participation of more than 1,000 companies from around the world as it is the first international A-level car show after the pandemic measures.
Chery Group’s four major brands participated in the 2023 Shanghai Auto Show with 14 new models.
The company introduced its new cars such as TIGGO 9 C-DM, TJ-1C-DM, Traveler C-DM, Star Era STERRA series STERRA ES and iCAR 03 at the fair where it exhibited 12 new technologies. Empowered by technology, Chery set up a super hybrid platform and a high-performance electric platform along with the E0X, which is called the Mars architecture, and began working to make its products work with electricity and support them with artificial intelligence.
CHERY GROUP INCREASE ITS SALES BY 44.1 PERCENT
Chery Group Chairman YinTongyue shared Chery Group’s future market plan, reforms and innovation goals, and shared a series of innovative and forward-looking key strategies. Whether it is the traditional fuel model, the “first stage” of the new energy model or the “second stage” of smart grids, the concept of “Technology Chery” is widely used in hybrid, extended range, all-electric, hydrogen and similar options. This was determined as a development strategy of the company that strengthens both technical routes. Chery Group’s cumulative sales volume in the first quarter of this year increased by 44.1 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, reaching a record level of 330,335 vehicles.
