A maple announced this Thursday the 20th the launch of its latest addition to the PC Gamers lineup, Predator Orion X. The device, which the brand considers “compact”, combines a processor information core i9-13900KS 13th generation with graphics card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 in a small portable case.

The 9kg PC was designed with durability and performance in mind, so it has multiple “zones” to house the CPU, GPU, and liquid cooling system. In addition, it comes with enhanced hardware protection – a removable magnetic front cover and metal side panels to protect internal systems.

These divisions are divided as follows: zone 1 is specifically designed for better access to the processor, power supply, and SSD, while zone 2 contains slots for VGA and two 2.5-inch SATA hard drives; Zone 3 houses the 240mm liquid CPU cooler. The Core i9 that powers the Predator Orion X has 24 cores, 32 threads, a TDP of 150W and can reach clock speeds of 6GHz, paired with 32GB of RAM and storage consisting of two SSDs of up to 1TB each.

Connectivity is provided by the Intel Killer series with Wi-Fi 6E support and more ports, including two USB3.2 Gen1 (one Type-C and one Type-A), microphone and headphone jack, USB 3.2 Gen2x2 Type -C, three ports USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A, two USB 2.0 ports and one RJ45 port.

The model also comes with the PredatorSense 4.0 utility app, which allows users to customize the RGB lighting and control overclocking.

The Predator Orion X (POX-650) will be available in North America starting in September starting at $2,999.99 (approximately per month) from €2,499 (BRL 13,853). launched in the Brazilian market, has not been reported.

The Nitro XZ452CU and Predator X34 V will both launch in the US in late 2023, priced at $999 (R$5,537) and $1,299 (R$7,200), respectively. It is also unknown if they are available in Brazil.
