A maple announced this Thursday the 20th the launch of its latest Chromebooks performance-oriented and environmentally friendly materials, they are: Acer Chromebook Spin 714 This Acer Chromebook Enterprise Spin 714. The new devices feature ten-hour battery life, fast charging, and 100% recyclable packaging.

Works on new processors Intel® Core™ 13th generation laptops, the new laptops provide up to 10% performance improvement over the previous generation. In addition, they are compliant with the Intel® Evo™ platform for fast processing and long life.

According to Acer, sustainability has been a determining factor in the production of new devices. They contain recycled plastic (PCR) and the packaging is made entirely from recycled materials, including molded cellulose liners made from recycled paper, cardboard and other natural fibers.

Along with this, the design contributes to a longer service life – meets the certification of the US military standard MIL-STD 810H. And the battery, in addition to ten hours of operation, can be replenished using a quick charge that lasts 30 and provides up to four hours of use.

These models are the first Acer Chromebooks to feature a 2K QHD webcam that delivers high-resolution images, temporal noise reduction technology, and a physical privacy shutter.

Connectivity is via Wi-Fi 6E or Bluetooth 5.2, and to additional devices via HDMI ports and two high-speed Thunderbolt™ 4 ports. They even support web and Google Play apps, giving users access to all productivity apps.

The new Chromebooks will be available from May in the US for $699 (about R$3,524 direct convertible) and EUR 999 (R$5,525) in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Acer has not announced availability for Brazil.
