On April 5, 2023, a federal grand jury based in the Northern District of Illinois returned its thirteenth indictment against Ivan Arcivaldo and Jesus Alfredo Guzman Salazar and Joaquin Guzmán López, accusing them of ongoing criminal activity; conspiracies to import, manufacture and distribute cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine and marijuana, possession of machine guns and destructive devices, and a money laundering conspiracy.

US Department of State offers rewards up to $10 million for information leading to the arrest and/or conviction of Ivan Arcivaldo and Jesús Alfredo Guzmán Salazar.
