Pixel Fold, the long-awaited first foldable phone from Google, appeared leaked on video Kuba Wojciechowski, a developer specializing in Google products and usually trustworthy in his information.
And we say usually because the video in question is a short clip where you can only see the main screen folded / unfolded, the hinge that allows it to move, the bezels and the selfie camera. We don’t see Google logos or other distinctive features like the design of the rear camera that could confirm its authenticity. What we see in the image could certainly just as well apply to a Samsung or Oppo prototype.
Since the clip matches the Pixel Fold, we confirm that this is the “book” design used by most manufacturers that have released their foldable devices to date. The size of the main screen is in line with the specs we’ve seen so far, which is 7.6 inches. However, the aspect ratio shows us a less elongated device than the Samsung Galaxy Fold and closest to what Oppo offers using Find N2.
And nothing else except for some unconventional thick bezels at the bottom of the inner folding panel. As for the hinge, there is no guarantee that it will be the “strongest on the market” as previous leaks have said. We also have no idea about the main camera system and whether it will use the main 50-megapixel sensor from the Pixel 7.

What is certain is that Google will bet on the use of its own main engine, the internally developed SoC Tensor G2 and already used in other Pixel devices. 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage capacity are still being talked about as the main specifications.
we kept it inside emergency awaiting official news, which will certainly not make it to Google I/O, where its presentation is expected. The Pixel Fold is an important model as the first foldable device for an Android owner and as an impetus for the mobile market, whose sales will drop sharply in the first half of 2023.
