Last year, Elon Musk demonstrated the concept of humanoid work Tesla Optimus. The primary task of a machine is to do boring or dangerous repetitive work, that is, one that most people avoid.

During an interview with Matthias Depfner, CEO of Axel Springer, Elon shared his opinion on the humanoid works that are being worked on.

“Humanity built the world in such a way that a two-legged humanoid with two hands and ten fingers could easily interact with it. Therefore, if you want a robot to be able to do the same things as people, it should be about the same size, shape and capabilities,” said Elon Max.

Many are seriously and rightly worried that serial machine humanoids will begin to replace people in common activities, like labor migrants who are ready to work on more favorable terms for the employer. That is why the interviewer asked if robots would also be useful in everyday life, for example, as a helper in the household. In response, Musk stated that Optimus would be a “universal humanoid”. Also, one should not exclude the possibility of loading the capabilities of the human personality into the machine.

“We could download things that we think make us so unique. Regarding the preservation of our memories, our personality, I think we could do it, ”Elon argued.

Until the end of 2023, Musk promised the start of mass production of the Tesla Optimus. The first Tesla robot, namely the Tesla Bot, was introduced in August 2021. He is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 125 pounds.
