HPE expands network management capabilities in GreenLake with the latest generation of Aruba Networking Central. This enables companies to build an “agile NaaS” strategy.

HPE announces the next generation of Aruba Networking Central with a press release. Many organizations suffer from a lack of staff to manage the network. Aruba’s cloud network management platform has therefore been redesigned with a touch of AIOps to reduce manual tasks.

The addition of AI enables many new capabilities in Aruba Networking Central. AI-powered full-stack insights provide improved RCA and impact assessment, and intelligent indicators provide insights into device health. Device-agnostic workloads with API support automate network configurations at scale.

Above all, Aruba Networking Central must also provide visibility into the network. Layered physical and logical topology views map large, complex networks, while the point-in-time view enables point-in-time recovery. HPE Aruba brings all of this together in a simplified view to help users of all experience levels navigate the network.

Agile NaaS

Of course, HPE also welcomes Aruba Networking Central with open arms for the Greenlake hybrid cloud platform. Customers can purchase these new services in the form of monthly subscriptions through GreenLake for Networking. HPE and Aruba want to enable companies to develop an “agile NaaS” strategy.

Agile NaaS should provide network teams with the tools to develop a network strategy that fits the organization’s unique needs and supports various purchasing, deployment, and management models. A NaaS strategy or Network-as-a-Service can be implemented without requiring a network upgrade. Thanks to the acquisition of Axis Security, SASE security is also integrated.

HPE is also adding a new Network Policy NaaS service package based on Aruba’s ClearPass network access control solution. This will be available in fifteen countries from the third quarter. Belgium is not included in this list, but the Netherlands is.
