According to Tom’s Hardware, the first USB-C cables for 240W charging although not yet available for purchase, about a year after the USB Implementers Forum announced the implementation of the specification in a popular connector system.

According to the information indicated, Club3D is responsible for the introduction of these new USB-C cables, the main advantage of which on paper is the above-mentioned 240 W charging, which boasts speeds of no less than up to 40 Gbps.

The specifications of these new USB-C cables are based on the Extended Power Range standard (EPR or Extended Power Range in Spanish), which was announced last year by the USB Implementers Forum, ie. USB-C 2.1with capacity to offer up to 240W or 48V at 5A.

Options for these powerful USB-C cables also include support for 8K video output at 60 frames per second depending on the model on which the data bandwidth will be determined, because the 240 W charging power is shared by all.

Club3D introduces three models of USB-C cables with these features. Its own basic specifications consist of:

• CAC-1573: 2-meter USB-C 2.0 cable with 480 Mbps and 240W charging (48V / 5A)
