BIDEN VS TRUMP?

Biden may fight in 2024 with former US President Donald Trump (2017-2021), which he has already won in 2020.

Trump announced his intention to fight for republican nomination in this party’s primary trial, despite the fact that he is involved in several court problems and has already been formally charged in a criminal case in New York.

In addition to Trump, there are five other candidates on the Republican side: a former US ambassador. before the UN Nikki Haleybusinessman Vivek Ramaswamiformer Governor of Arkansas Asa Hutchinsonconservative radio host Larry Elder and businessman Perry Johnson.

Other conservative politicians have also hinted that they are interested in running, such as Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis or former Trump Vice President Mike Pence, although no one has yet taken that step.

On the Democratic side, Biden seems to have a clear field, as prominent figures in the party have ruled out the possibility of running and have competition only from fringe figures.

In particular, only two figures have declared their intention to fight for the Democratic nomination: Environmental lawyer and anti-vaccine activist Robert F. Kennedynephew of President John F. Kennedy (1961–1963) and self-help writer Marianne Williamson.

The Democratic National Committee fully supports Biden and has already said it has no plans to hold a primary debate.

Biden tried unsuccessfully for the Democratic presidential nomination in 1988 and 2008. That same year, Democratic nominee and then President Barack Obama (2008–2017) chose Biden for vice president, and both won the 2008 and 2012 elections.
