For the first time, Japan’s Ministry of Digital, State Private Communications and the Ministry of Digitization signed a tripartite memorandum marking the start of digital cooperation between countries.
Deputy Prime Minister for Innovations, Education, Science and Technology Development – Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov announced this on Telegram, as reported by Ukrinform.
“We are starting digital cooperation with Japan – we signed a memorandum with the Japanese Ministry of Digitization. We will focus on cyber protection. Protecting Ukraine’s critical infrastructure facilities as much as possible. Japan has the experience and expertise in high-quality countermeasures against cyber attacks. He explained that Ukraine will help the experience of building a unified and effective e-government system on its behalf: mobile first, experience of launching online services quickly, development of e-government and implementation of digital innovations at the state level.
As reported, the Ministry of Digital Transformation signed a memorandum with the Techosystem association of technology companies that will contribute to the development of Ukraine’s startup ecosystem and innovative infrastructure.
