Samsung announced this Thursday (27) the opening of registrations for the 10th edition of Solve For Tomorrow Brasil. The citizenship program encourages high school students and public school teachers to create innovative solutions. Applications are accepted until July 12, and the winning projects will receive Samsung devices as prizes.
Samsung showcases 89-inch MicroLED TV for the first time
Samsung invests in innovation through a STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) approach to help create projects that improve people’s lives. Registered teams must have a minimum of 3 students and a maximum of 5 high school students. Also new in the 10th edition is that teams can be made up of students from different grades, as long as they are all in the same year.

Each group should be led by a professor from disciplines related to the fields of science or mathematics. The lead teacher may participate with different teams from the same class or not if they have different projects and different students. “Achieving the tenth edition of Solve for Tomorrow Brasil is a source of great pride and responsibility for Samsung. The goal of Save For Tomorrow Brasil is to promote scientific research, sustainable development and improve quality and equity in Brazilian public education. eventually, more than 168,559 students have already taken part in the initiative, 36,420 teachers and 6,049 public schools. And in 2022, the number of enrolled students increased by 65% compared to the previous year.

- From 15 August to 29 September: mentorship for 20 semi-finalist teams.

- October 10 to November 22: Mentorship for the 10 finalist teams.
- November 16 – November 26: People’s Jury voting.
- November 27: Jury presentation
- November 28: Results of the 10th draw winners.
Three winning teams receive Samsung devices. 1st place will go to Samsung Smartphone + Samsung Smart TV + Samsung Headset. 2nd place goes to Samsung laptop + Samsung Smart TV, and 3rd place goes to Samsung Smartwatch + Samsung Smart TV. On the official website of the event, it is not specified which device models will be delivered as prizes.
