Anyone who bought an iPhone 14 and wants to know if it’s made in Brazil can find all the information on the back of the device’s box. Apple indicated the place of manufacture of the device through a sealed warranty sticker in English and on the box itself in Portuguese.

The Cupertino-based company did not reveal where the iPhone 14 is manufactured. However, the devices are believed to be manufactured at Foxconn’s Jundiai, Sao Paulo plant. Previous versions of the device were already produced in the country at this plant.

The photo posted by MacMagazine shows the back of the box with the reference number MPVN3BR/A. The BR abbreviation is a reinforcement and an indication that the iPhone 14 is made in Brazil and not imported from abroad, which has the abbreviation BZ/A.

The National Communications Agency (Anatel) has not yet included more up-to-date information about the device in its Certificate of Technical Compliance, which means that this news is very fresh. So far, the most recent document still states that the device is manufactured at four factories in China and one in India.

Without official information from Apple and Anatel, it is not yet known exactly which iPhone 14 models will continue to be assembled in Brazil. Given the history of the Cupertino company, it is possible that the Pro versions will continue to be produced abroad, with the most affordable ones in Brazilian factories.
