Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon It’s a title that From Software intends to get noticed in 2023 (courtesy of the Elden Ring expansion). The developer has officially released the release date, the trailer with gameplayplatforms for which it will be released and minimum PC requirements, which can be consulted via the Steam tab.

To start, Date of publication is scheduled for Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon August 25, 2023, perhaps a little earlier than some estimates that showed in the fall. However, with a few months still to go, a delay shouldn’t be ruled out, but for now it looks like From Software and Bandai Namco will meet the deadline. The price for Spain on Steam is 59.99 euros for the standard edition and 69.99 euros for the deluxe edition.

Supported platforms are PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, so we are facing a title that will be intergenerational. This may eventually have an impact on the technical quality of the game, as was seen in Resident Evil 4 at the time. As for the trailer, it is published in 4K resolution, runs at 60 frames per second and has a really spectacular surface. If visible, the dark and dystopian setting is very well achieved and it looks like it’s going to be another game that results in monitor smashes and more than one controller being thrown out the window, which is ultimately the brand of the house.

Starting with Daemons Souls and especially Dark Souls, From Software has made a name for itself in the industry by creating games that combine a high level of challenge with fantasy. Without abandoning some already familiar and consolidated foundations, the company introduces variations on its formula through titles such as Bloodborne, Sekiro and Elden Ring.

The situation surrounding Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon seems to be difficult, as it is an IP that is not as well known to the general public, despite being older than others owned or developed by From Software. The sixth numbered volume of Armored Core will most likely be the one that introduces the saga to the general public, so the challenge lies ahead to satisfy new players as well as veterans.
