ZELENSKY CALLS TO RESPOND TO THE RESULTS OF PEACEFUL PEOPLE

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky today called for more military aid and tougher sanctions against Russia to prevent more attacks like today’s.

“Only together can we defeat Russian terrorism, with weapons for Ukraine, tougher sanctions against the terrorist state and fair sentences for murderers,” Zelenskiy said in a message posted on social media during the release of the official death toll. .

The President of Ukraine explained that the bodies of two children found in Uman have not yet been identified, and their parents are missing.

“Rescue teams will continue their work until they are sure that no one is left under the rubble,” Zelensky said, hinting that the number of victims could rise.

In previous messages, the Ukrainian leader asked the international community to “react fairly” to this Russian attack. “Every such attack, every atrocity against our country and our people brings the terrorist state closer to defeat and punishment, and not vice versa, as they think,” Zelensky said.

“We will not forget a single crime, we will not allow a single occupier to escape responsibility,” added the head of the Ukrainian state, whose message was accompanied by photographs of several buildings burned down and partially destroyed this morning as a result of a Russian attack.

For its part, the Russian Defense Ministry on Friday confirmed that the strikes were directed against military installations.

“Tonight, the Russian Aerospace Forces launched a volley of long-range missiles with high-precision weapons at the points of temporary deployment of reserve units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the Ministry of Defense said in a daily morning part, noting that all goals were “achieved.” . EFE
