The launch of the Falcon 9 rocket took place from the 40th launch complex of the US Space Force base at Cape Canaveral, Florida.
The company has confirmed that the satellites have successfully entered the given orbit.
O3b mPOWER is designed to provide high-speed Internet access and mobile communications services on a global scale.
In total, 11 O3b mPOWER satellites are planned to be launched into an average Earth orbit at an altitude of 8,000 km. Two such satellites were launched on Falcon 9 in December last year.
