The invaders are trying to access personal data and public records through private computers and mobile phones.
This was announced by Yuriy Shchyhol, head of the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine, during a briefing held at the Ukraine-Ukrinform media center.
“Accessing people’s phones and private computers is one of the vectors of attacks. They are trying to get information about personal data, passwords, access to government registers through special applications that you use,” Shchigol said. Said.
He urged Ukrainians to adhere to cyber hygiene rules, to use as many authentication tools as possible on phones.
Schigol also pointed out that recent enemy cyberattacks have significantly reduced power. The State Special Communications Service attributes this to the fact that Russia is currently considering protecting its infrastructure from hackers.
Russia’s hacking attacks are reportedly targeting all government agencies, but the invaders are most concerned with logistics, transportation and energy.
According to the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine, 430 cyberattacks were carried out on Ukraine in two months.
