Deputy Director General of the “Antonov” State Enterprise Yevgen Gavrilov spoke in more detail about this project. He said that Ukraine took part in the fair this year at the invitation of the Consulate General of Istanbul and that the place for the stand was provided free of charge.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy pointed out that the An-225 should be rebuilt in memory of all pilots who lost their lives. The first steps in this direction are already being taken actively. Regarding the restoration of “Rüya”, we also interviewed various organizations for participation in the project as a partner, supplier of components and a possible contribution to the financing of the restoration.

According to him, Microsoft initiated the creation of the Microsoft Flight Simulator product based on the An-225. This large-scale work by the developers in collaboration with Antonov experts allows everyone to become a pilot of a unique aircraft, feel its power in their hands, travel on the chosen route on its wings.
