A video is circulating on social media showing the headmaster of Zela Primary School, James Marshall walking near the school’s trash cans, seconds later, when Marsh tries to open one of the containers, he finds himself face to face with a bear.

Instantly, the caregiver runs away, causing the bear to completely exit the container and run away. After an unexpected encounter, the headmaster rests his hands on his knees in relief as he sees the bear leaving the school.
“I think we were both just as surprised when you’re this close, they don’t seem friendly,” James Marsh told WASZ 3.
According to American media reports, the school principal approached the trash can to close it after hearing a noise, specifying that the teacher was trying to prevent what happened: the bear entered the container to pick up the garbage.
