Acer Swift X 16 is a new laptop that the Taiwanese company has just introduced. It combines the latest AMD Ryzen processors with dedicated NVIDIA graphics and will be available in Spain in June.
After introducing the impressive gaming Predator and the cheaper TravelMate, Acer is now updating one of its mid-range series, which we could consider a premium mid-range. But settling down quite a bit light and thin aluminum chassisit weighs only 19 kg and is 17.9 mm thick.
Its screen is not left behind because it is a 16-inch OLED diagonal with a native resolution of 3.2K (3200 x 2000 pixels). It is certified by the VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 500 standard and TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe against blue light. It covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, reaches a maximum brightness of 500 nits and has a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

Its hardware base is AMD Ryzen 7000 Mobile, with models up to AMD Ryzen 9 7940H (8 cores / 16 threads and 45W TDP) and integrated AMD Radeon 780M graphics. As we have already seen with other manufacturers, Acer adds a dedicated RTX 40 from NVIDIA to improve the graphics part. The green giant absolutely dominates the OEM channel and presents its solutions on AMD machines as well.
It features 16GB of LPDDR5 memory and PCIe Gen4 hard drives for storage. The notebook features an improved TwinAir cooling system that increases airflow by up to 36% thanks to larger fans, built-in turbo mode, and an air intake keyboard design for heat dissipation. As for connectivity, it supports Wi-Fi 6Eit has a number of ports, USB Type-C and HDMI 2.1microSD cards and 1080p FHD webcam for video conferencing.

Pre-installed with Windows 11 and finished in dark gray, it will be available in Spain in June, on the manufacturer’s website and in the retail channel in June for €1,599.
