In Prykarpattia, ninth grader Roman Tymofiychuk from the village of Kornych developed a drone model for the military.
This was reported by local TV company NTK, according to Ukrinform.
“A grade 9 student from Kolomyia Oblast has developed a drone model for the military. Roman Tymofiychuk, 15, from Kornych, creates various aviation models,” it said.
It was noted that Roman Tymofiychuk’s father defended Ukraine on the front lines. A schoolboy dreamed of making a drone for Ukrainian soldiers since the beginning of the war. His work includes about 15 models of radio-controlled aircraft.
“It will be a reconnaissance plane and a cargo plane, it will carry all kinds of devices. My goal is to make a drone for our army so that they win faster and Ukraine is happy,” he said.
To implement Roman’s idea and create an author’s drone, about 30 thousand hryvnia is needed. The 15-year-old’s initiative is already supported by those who are interested. Among them is the principal of Kolomyia High School named after Stefanyk Myroslav Grab.
As reported, the Sirko reconnaissance aircraft was created in Kharkiv, which has a non-separable fuselage and is made of radio-transparent polymer.
