A Microsoft announced today that the members Windows Insider Program who chose the distribution channel developer now you can download Windows 11 build 23451 through Windows Update. This new test version of the operating system includes bug fixes, an improved details pane in File Explorer, and other new features.

What’s new in Windows 11 build 23451

According to Microsoft, one of the new features in Windows 11 build 23451 available today to Windows Insiders is an updated and more “modern” details pane in the operating system’s File Explorer. It is displayed when the user hovers over a file and clicks a button to open the panel.

Also available via the shortcut “Alt + Shift + R”, this new Details panel displays a file thumbnail and allows users to easily share documents, check recent activity related to documents, access related files, and more:

Microsoft indicates that not all users Installers of Windows 11 build 23451 will immediately see the new details pane. The company will monitor feedback from a limited number of Windows Insiders before rolling out this new experience to everyone.

Microsoft has also confirmed that it is working on some changes to this feature. Windows features (Windows in the spotlight). Some of these changes include an updated interface, a new option for full screen usage, and a new option for minimizing usage. The bad news is that these changes will only be available in English for now.

as soon as they are available

Another new feature in this test version of Windows 11 is new facebook widget. Users interested in testing the new widget should download the Facebook app. through the Microsoft Store or update to the latest version. Then just open the widget panel and add a new Facebook widget by clicking the “+” button:

In addition to the new features mentioned above, Windows 11 build 23451 also includes improvements to how Narrator interacts with Microsoft Excel, the Start menu will now show recommended websites based on your browsing history, the Gallery feature, natively introduced in Build Explorer 23435. has a new icon and the Widget Picker has a new look:
