Practically since the birth of Mundo Xiaomi, we inform you about the different innovations that Xiaomi has introduced in the MIUI customization layer throughout its different versions, new functions implemented through the weekly closed betas of this system, and unfortunately, everything seems to indicate that they will stop doing this from Android 13.

As we were able to find out through the well-known developer through MIUI Polska Kacper Skrzypekafter releasing such closed beta versions for more than twelve consecutive years, Xiaomi will stop making it from Android 13, replacing them with what we know until now as the public betaIt will also be published weekly with much less news.

Say goodbye to closed betas of MIUI from Android 13

To put us in context, Xiaomi currently divides the launch of different MIUI versions into three major groups as follows: stable releases, public betas and closed betasthe latter are most likely the ones that will stop doing this when the first ROMs based on Android 13 are implemented.

This change it will not affect all users who update their phones with 100% stable versions of the system.but it represents a significant change for all people or developers who usually install such a version to regularly test new features implemented by Xiaomi.

So it looks like the brand will replace what we know as the weekly closed betas of MIUI up to now with public betas, just as it did until Android 12. they will be based on stable versions of the system, which will be distributed weekly, but in this case with a much smaller amount of integrated innovations.
