GoPro has announced the winners of the fifth Million Dollar Challenge. Awards are given for 100% user-recorded videos as well as videos shot with the new GoPro cameras: HERO11 Black and HERO11 Black Mini. eventually, 42,446 videos were sent and 55 authors from 21 countries were selected. get a share of $1 million dollars. In the fifth edition of the award, two Brazilian women were selected as winners.

Each of the winners received $18,181.81 per video.. Brazil’s winners are Andres Alves, a loyal GoPro user who garnered attention in this year’s video as she descended a giant slide that ended in a ball pool, and Frecia Melo and her son descending in a cable car. GoPro CEO Nick Woodman celebrated the results of the fifth release. “The HERO11 Black and Mini Million Dollar Challenge video is dedicated to the creativity of our inspired users. Congratulations to the creators of this year – your videos inspire millions of people around the world to pursue their interests and passions, ”commented Nick Woodman. The competition lasted almost 10 weeks from January 26 to April 2, and the winners learned the result on April 26 at 10:00 (Brazil time).

GoPro Million Dollar Challenge

GoPro has given away $5,000,000 to the winners of the Million Dollar Challenge over the past five years. Creators from countless countries around the world have been able to get paid for their recordings. Simply shoot something inspiring and submit your unedited video to the GoPro Awards, the company says. GoPro is expected to release the sixth edition of the award in 2024.
