Autev startup from Seattle, USA presented a small miniature robot to charge electric cars.
As reported by Ukrinform, New Atlas reported this.
Autev is essentially a “big battery on wheels”.
It reaches the user’s electric car autonomously if “called” via the app.
The mini robot can be placed in any parking lot or other place in a garage specially equipped for electric cars.
When the robot comes to the electric car, the user simply plugs the charging cable into the charging port of his car. When the owner returns, he disconnects the cable from the robot, allowing the robot to return to its own charging station in the garage.
If the user returns earlier and wants to leave before charging is complete, he can use the program to reduce the desired charging capacity or manually disconnect the robot cable.
As reported by Ukrinform, NaaS Technology Inc., a leading provider of electric vehicle charging services in China, introduced its first self-developed automatic charging robot to meet the growing demand for mobile charging of electric vehicles.
